The smaller, older predecessor to the Millard Sheets’ designed bank across the street, the original Home Savings bank at this intersection is much more modest. A single story, rectangular building has the customary corniced roofline, and mosaic of all of Sheets’ designs. This iteration features a mosaic of cowhands herding their cattle. A shiny gold trim wraps around the building. More recently, the interior of the building has been transformed into a restaurant. (2017)
