Segerstrom Center

Home to four venues in one integrated complex, the entire Segerstrom Center is built in a unifying, curvilinear post-modern style. Waving glass facades could be understood as an homage to Orange County’s obsessive beach culture. Bright marble concourses continue the clean and bright, coastal feel. Designed by differect architects, approximately 20 years apart he two biggest venues, the opposing Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall (2006) and the Segerstrom Hall (1986), contrast each other as yin-and-yang. The former features a rounded and waving interior, while the latter features a more jutting and angular interior. (2017)
