Promontory Point

At a distance, this expansive apartment complex appears like one giant roofline, with multiple cutouts for windows and balconies. Upon closer look, there are even more articulations with sections cantilevered over walkways, high-rising chimneys jutting from the middle of each wing of the building, and skylights. Markedly different than most apartment complexes in the county, this highly articulated design is a welcome departure from the ordinarily squat, two-story complexes. (2017)
