Before the time of mass subdivisions and McMansions, housing production in Southern California was dominated by bungalows and courtyard apartments. The Pomona Court Apartments brings the best of both worlds. Two buildings with four, single-story, attached craftsman-style apartments face each other across a manicured courtyard. Stepping underneath the arbor that marks the entrance to the complex is like a step back in time. The larger two-story apartment building at the far side of the courtyard was added at a later date.
