Ruby's Diner

Instantly recognizable thanks to its bright red octagonal roof, this diner has grown to become a mainstay of local culture. Simple arches wrap follow around the building, and a seafoam paint scheme draws from the most obvious of inspirations. The rounded, streamline white interior is reminiscent of the classic main street diners of the 50s and 60s. It just so happens that in this city a pier is as much a part of life as is the actual Main Street. (2017)
