Almost like a shotgun shack, this house survives from Garden Grove’s rural era. Simple wood cladding, and detail work remains true to the building’s original design. The most stylish part of the building is the flared roof, with a very tall roofline. Also of note is the large porch, recalling simpler times when human interaction on the street was a necessity, and welcomed. (2017)
