J. Herbert Brownell Office

Built more like a residence than the typical office, this is the masterpiece of unheralded local architect J. Herbert Brownell. The layout of the building is eclectic, to say the least, seamlessly perched onto a hilltop. A prominent brick wall extends towards the street, flanking the front door. Meanwhile, a low pitched roof is built with a point extending out toward the street. Natural wood treatments can be found throughout the interior, and floor to ceiling windows are prominent features.
