Ruby's Diner

The original Ruby’s Diner is built into a white, streamlined building. Given the streamline modern style’s tenacity to borrow visual cues from ocean liners, the style is highly appropriate for the oceanfront location. Rounded off corners make the building appear seaworthy. Horizontal lines, fins, and awnings, and circular windows make the building reminiscent of a steam ship’s bridge. (2017)
